Actress who plays Meghan Markle in 'In The Lifetime' movie, posts tribute to her real-life counterpart
The film, In The Lifetime, is due to come out before the Royal Wedding and will show the romance between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Royal Wedding is still some time away, but a movie about their relationship, 'In The Lifetime', is all set to be coming out soon. The actor who is going to be playing Meghan Markle, Parisa Fitz-Henley, decided to post a sweet and genuine tribute to her real-life counterpart.
Fitz-Henley is a perfect choice and cast to play the beautiful Meghan Markle and this is not her first TV role. People may recognize her as Reva Connors in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage or even as Fiji Cavanaugh in NBC's Midnight, Texas.
The actress looks like a striking version of Meghan Markle herself to the point where they have very similar smiles as well as the same freckles on the face. The actress also uses minimal makeup just like Meghan and their facial features show a lot of similarities.
In a video uploaded to Instagram by Fitz-Henley, she and her cast members can be seen sharing some thoughts and opinions about the story. "Hey everybody, we are on our way to film the last scene of the last day of Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance. It's a really special scene, and I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you and sharing the entire movie with you. It's been such a labor of love for everyone involved, and we hope you love it too," she said in the video.
The actress did not go into any detail about the movie, but she did thank the to-be Royal couple in the caption of the video. In the post, she also went on to show her appreciation for Meghan Markle as well as the couple's relationship. "I got to take a look inside the life of a woman and a relationship I quickly came to admire and claim as inspirations," she wrote on her Instagram.
Parisa also spoke about how the filming experience was an adventure and gave a shout out to the team that was involved with the film. The team includes directors, producers, screenwriters, and Murray Fraser who will play the role of none other than Prince Harry.
The film titled, 'Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance' finished filming and shooting but the film does not yet have a release date. The film is expected to be on air before the Royal Wedding which is set to happen on the 19th of May.
This is the video that Paris Fitz-Henley uploaded:
About last night... 🙏🏾❤️ That’s a wrap on #HarryandMeghan #ARoyalRomance @lifetimetv. WHAT an adventure. We worked with fabulous actors, creators and crew. We braved the elements — and got some gorgeous days in there too. I got to take a look inside the life of a woman and a relationship I quickly came to admire and claim as inspirations. To say I feel fortunate to have worked with a beautiful and moving script by Scarlett Lacey & Terrence Coli, and with such a dedicated and soulful team — producers @cuethedogproductions, director @menhajhuda, MY Prince Harry #MurrayFraser, and more — is an understatement. All I can think of is “What can we make together next?!” That’s up to Fate to decide. In the meantime I’ll be posting pics from our shoot, celebrating more casting announcements with you (such fun coming!), and getting ready for the premiere of this sweet film (stay tuned for release date!). So many thanks for all the wonderful encouragement! It’s been lovely to catch some of the collateral love being deservedly showered upon the real Harry & Meghan. Here’s to LOVE! ❤️, P.
